As a Certified Sexual Health Nurse and Somatic Intimacy Coach, I’ve spent years guiding individuals and couples toward greater physical and emotional well-being. Now, I’m excited to offer Embodied Spinal Flow. This transformative approach blends my background in nursing with somatic healing practices to help you unlock the full potential of your body’s innate wisdom.
Embodied Spinal Flow combines the principles of the Spinal Flow Technique with Somatic Coaching, offering a holistic pathway to healing. This approach is rooted in the understanding that your spine is more than just a structure of bones and nerves—it’s a vital communication highway that connects your brain to your body’s natural ability to heal itself.
The Spinal Flow Technique is based on the idea that emotional, chemical, and physical stressors can create blockages along your spine. These blockages disrupt the body’s ability to heal and can manifest as pain, emotional tension, or even feelings of disconnection. By gently touching specific access points along the spine, we can clear these blockages, restoring the free flow of energy (also known as the spinal wave) and promoting healing from within.
In my practice as a Certified Somatic Intimacy Coach, I’ve seen how deeply trauma, stress, and unresolved emotions can be stored in the body. By integrating somatic coaching into the Spinal Flow Technique, we address both the physical and emotional layers of healing, creating a more profound and lasting transformation.
Somatic coaching uses body-centered practices, such as breathwork, movement, and touch, to bring awareness to the sensations and emotions stored in your body (the soma). This approach helps you release trapped emotions and trauma, fostering a deeper connection to yourself and others. When combined with the spinal flow technique, this method relieves physical pain and supports emotional healing, helping you cultivate deeper intimacy and self-awareness.
The Spinal Flow Technique and Somatic Coaching are natural partners. While spinal flow works on clearing physical blockages and restoring energy flow in the body, somatic coaching helps you process and integrate those blockages' emotional and psychological aspects. Together, they allow for a complete healing experience—addressing the root causes of pain, tension, or disconnection rather than just the symptoms.
